Brown's Towing was founded in 1964 by Joe Brown, Sr. Old Joe had an old power wagon Dodge and did towing as a hobby. He also had an auto wrecking yard where he tinkered around with cars for over 20 years.

Old Joe was injured in the late 1980's and Joe, Jr. took over the towing. In the early 90's, Joe, Jr. was forced to close the doors to Brown Towing due to the immediate need to care for Joe, Sr.

After the death of Joe, Sr. in December 2001, Joe, Jr (now Joe, Sr) and Joey (now Joe, Jr.) decided to give towing a try again. In December 2002, one year after Old Joe passed away, Brown's Towing, Inc. reopened for business on a 24 hour basis.

Since then, Brown's Towing has evolved to become the area's premier towing company. We provide towing to 24 of 27 area repair shops, body shops, and dealerships. We also have contracts with Wilmington PD, Braidwood PD, Elwood PD, ISP District 5, and the Will County Sheriff's Department.

Joe, Jr's wife Danielle answers the phones and runs the office. Joe, Sr. ,Joe, Jr., and Mike run the trucks with help from friends and family during busy times.
